Disable the Main Login

Ever tire of the need to log into several applications, while using several different sets of credentials? It can feel cumbersome at times, especially when you need to accomplish something in a hurry. (Are we wrong?)

Users with both SAML-based and ADFS SSO accounts can disable the main login at Asset Panda. Once disabled, users will log in through their linked sub domains, rather than through the main Asset Panda login page (login.assetpanda.com).

 

You can select to disable the main login a couple of different ways. The first is through the User Configuration menu (see instructions below). The second is during a data import (see Import Data). 

Keep in mind that it is required for you to first set up and activate your SSO. Once completed, use the following steps to disable your main login.  

1. Click your settings settings_icon.png icon, and then select User Configuration.

2. Locate the user you wish to enable SSO for, and then click Edit User Permissions.

3. Click Yes next to Disable Main Login.

4. Click Save Permissions.

That's it! Users with a disabled main login will get the following if they attempt to log into the main Asset Panda login page:
